Pottery Weekend Workshop
The Weekend Pottery Workshop for Two:
is the perfect getaway weekend to the country, where you will learn hands-on how to make pottery on the pottery wheel.
Everything, except meals, is included!
Clay, Supplies, Firing costs, and Accommodations for two guests for two nights in the Barn Loft is included in the price of $ 350

Pottery Lessons and Workshops information
You can book Pottery lessons by the hour , by the day, or by the weekend. If you don't live in the area, and need accommodations, there are accommodations available for two guests. Friendly pets are also welcome for an added cost of $ 20 for the duration of the stay. To inquire about lessons, workshops, accommodations, etc... please send me a message here
The Schedule for the weekend workshop
Friday:
Arrive after 3:00 p.m.
4:00-5:00 Studio Visit
We will meet in the pottery studio and talk about your goals for the weekend.
5:00-You are free for the evening to have dinner at one of local restaurants ( we can suggest some) or you can get take out and bring it back to the Loft.
Saturday: Work in the Pottery Studio
Start time is your choice, but 10:00 would be the ideal time to start working in the studio.
10:00 - 12:00
Learn about Pottery- clay, supplies, tools, equipment, the kiln, etc...
Watch a Demo
Make Pottery on the wheel and do some hand building projects.
There will be a 15 minute break somewhere between 10:00 and noon.
12:00 - Lunch Break
( will be an hour and a half to allow travel time to a local restaurant )
1:30 - 4:00 Studio time
Work on the pottery wheel, do hand building projects and decorate your pottery.
Finish up your projects and clean up.
5:00 - Free Time for the evening.
Sunday :
10:00 - 11:00 Studio Time
Meet in the Studio and clean up pottery pieces and prepare them for drying and firing, choose glaze colours for each of your pieces. If time allows you can make more pottery or handbuilt projects.
You have the option of spending more time in the studio if you like, for an added cost, but you would need to check out of the Barn Loft by 11:00 a.m.to allow time for clean up before the next guests arrive.
